Lloyd Patrick (Pat) Lalor was born 3rd September 1933 married Ailsa Margaret Searle in November 1959.
Pat and Ailsa have 5 children and at this stage, 9 grand children (10th grandchild due in May 2004).
Pat started his career as a carpenter then worked a number of years for the Melbourne Board of Works.
In his spare time he was found at the race track where he was an amateur jockey and horse trainer. Due to his love of horses he joined the Victoria Racing Club in 1963. He was made Chief
Stipendiary Steward in 1980, retiring from this role in September 1996.
He now pretends he is a farmer at a property in country Victoria where he lives with Yvonne Blackwood.
